About the book

"Sassy is so excited at the arrival of her baby brother that she writes a poem about little Dylan to read out to her class at school. But things soon get difficult for Sassy when it turns out that Dylan was born with a blood disorder and he needs a lot of extra attention from mum and dad.

Sassy struggles with her feelings of jealousy and learns how to cope with the responsibilities that come with being a big sister."

This book is about how a family deals with the pressures of child illness, and the relationships between siblings. It will appeal particularly to children aged ten and under.

A donation is made to the Haemophilia Society from every copy sold.
