Kate Evans

I've been writing since I was 10 and always wanted to be an author (as well as a pop-star and a waitress!). I wrote Sassy because my brother is a haemophiliac and I know about all the issues Sassy's family is dealing with.

I know that brothers and sisters can sometimes be overlooked when a child in the family isn't well. It can be difficult to get used to all the extra attention they get. I published this book so that brothers and sisters will know that they are just as special.

Andy Barr

Andy is a skilled writer as well as an illustrator. He has a distinctive style to both his writing and his art. His portfolio includes children's stories and darker fiction. Andy and Kate met at university and have been friends ever since.
